The MRFC^® Credential

The Master Registered Financial Consultant (MRFC^®) credential represents a commitment to serving the consumer as a highly knowledgeable and ethical practitioner. 

The target audience for the Master Registered Financial Consultant (MRFC®) Certification would consist of those individuals who in the mastery as a financial consultant, have met specific experiential, educational, and licensing requirements in the field of financial planning and services rendered.

Becoming an MRFC^® sends a powerful message in this competitive market. The term “Master” implies more broad experience in all aspects of financial responsibilities owed to clients.

Being an MRFC^® credential holder indicates to prospects and clients that the consultant has met the demanding qualifications for experience, education, licensing, ethical conduct, and continuing education. Their knowledge has been tested and confirmed by passing the MRFC^® exam and that they are committed to fiduciary responsibilities and service to clients. Continuing education requirements are the strictest in the industry – thus branding the MRFC^® as a lifelong learner. 
 

Brand Platinum

An MRFC brands platinum in assurance for integrity. It is one thing to hold oneself out as having met the minimum requirement to practice in the personal financial consulting field with a license. However, the bar is significantly raised when representing the profession as a “Board Certified Master Practitioner.”

As of March 1, 2024, the total number of current Master Registered Financial Consultants (MRFC) is 115.
