Jim Ruta is a distinguished leader in the life insurance sector, recognized for his unwavering commitment to advancing the profession of life insurance sales. Formerly a highly successful agent and executive manager at one of Canada’s largest life insurance agencies, Jim brings an unparalleled breadth of experience both within and beyond the industry.

He is a sought-after speaker, having addressed the MDRT Annual Meeting on five occasions, including a presentation from the Main Platform. Jim is the author of four books and a respected columnist within the life insurance community. He has provided strategic coaching to some of the world’s most accomplished advisors, such as Van Mueller, George Sigurdson, Mark Halpern, and Marc Silverman. Moreover, Jim actively collaborates with the MDRT Academy and the Center for Field Leadership.

As the founder of the virtual School of Life Insurance Selling, Jim curates insights and best practices from renowned global life insurance and financial advisors, equipping both emerging and experienced professionals with the tools for excellence.
