With more than twenty years of partnership with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC®), the Greater China Chapter (China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) has played a significant role in advancing the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) designation and, more recently, the Master Registered Financial Specialist (MRFS) and the Registered Financial Office Consultant (RFOC) designations throughout the region.
Since the formation of the Chapters in 2002—cultivated under the leadership of Greater China Development Chair Liang Tien Lung—the Greater China region has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional excellence and ethical financial consulting. Over the years, the Chapter has built a lasting and productive relationship with the IARFC Board of Trustees, working together to strengthen the profession and promote the Association’s mission.
The IARFC’s mission is to help individuals wisely save, spend, invest, insure, and plan, ultimately making a transformational difference in their financial futures. The Greater China Chapter has embraced this mission by encouraging professional development, promoting ethical standards, and supporting the advancement of financial consultants throughout the region.
Through their continued dedication, the Greater China Chapter reaffirms the belief that regardless of culture or geographic location, the work of a financial consultant is a noble calling. Financial consultants serve their clients with integrity, purpose, and a commitment to improving the financial well-being of the individuals and families they advise.
As the IARFC continues to grow its global community, the Greater China Chapter remains an important part of expanding the Association’s presence and strengthening the profession worldwide.

This year, the IARFC Greater China Annual Conference will be held in Shenzhen, under the theme “Dreams Come True.” This theme aims to inspire every RFC member to pursue their professional aspirations while applying their expertise to help clients achieve their life goals.
