Dr. Benjamin F. Cummings, Ph.D, CFP®, RFC®

Benjamin F. Cummings, Ph.D., CFP®, RFC® - is an Associate Professor of Behavioral Finance at the American College of Financial Services.  He has completed award-winning research on the use and value of financial advice and has been quoted in the media, including in MarketWatch and USA Today.  Prior to joining the American College, Benjamin was an Assistant Professor at Saint Joseph’s University.  Previously, he was the Scholar in Residence at CFP Board.  Benjamin received a B.S. in Psychology from Utah State University and a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.  When not working, Benjamin enjoys spending time with his wonderful family and volunteering for his church.
