Mr. Vibushan Bulathsinhala is a distinguished corporate trainer, Chartered Marketer, and leadership development professional with over 29 years of progressive experience in marketing, sales, and organizational learning. Currently serving as the Head of Department and Senior Manager – Learning & Development (General Insurance) at Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited (SLIC), the nation’s largest government-owned insurance organization, he has been instrumental in transforming SLIC’s training culture through innovative learning strategies and Activity-Based Training (ABT) methodologies.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Bulathsinhala has held leadership and managerial roles across several leading financial and insurance institutions, including Sri Lanka Insurance, Janashakthi Life, Eagle Life Insurance, Ceylinco Life, and Stembo Finance. His diverse professional background spans marketing, human resource development, finance, and performance management, making him a well-rounded and versatile corporate professional. His passion for human potential development has driven him to design and facilitate impactful training programs in motivation, leadership, sales, customer service, time and stress management, and team performance optimization.

A Gold Medallist in the National Diploma in Sales Management from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and recipient of the Best Student Award in 2013, Mr. Bulathsinhala has earned multiple national-level recognitions, including 1st Runner-Up (Finance Division) at Ceylinco Life in 2004. Beyond his corporate excellence, he is also a National Coloursman in cricket, having represented Sri Lanka at the 5th SAF Games and captained the Ceylinco Life Cricket Team for three consecutive years. His sports background continues to shape his philosophy of teamwork, resilience, and personal discipline, which are reflected in his leadership and coaching approach.

Academically, he holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and professional memberships with several prestigious bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM – UK), the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI – UK), the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (MSLIM), the Institute of Management of Sri Lanka (MIM), and the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (MCPM). A Certified Employee Counsellor and a lifelong learner, he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).
