Thechinamoorthy is a much sought after speaker and trainer in the financial services industry. He has been involved in the financial services since 1994. Despite his humble beginning and growing up with a dysfunctional family, he has transformed his life, with the seeds of passion he found in the life insurance business.

He holds a law degree from the University of London. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) from the American College -MII. In 2003, he qualified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certified by the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) and in 2004 he successfully completed Registered Financial Practitioner (RFP) with the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC). In 2009, he was certified as a Shariah Registered Financial Planner by The Malaysian Financial Planning Council.

In furthering his academic pursuits he went on to complete the Chartered Investment Financial Practitioner Program (ChIFP) which covers the areas of Asset & Funds Management, Financial Statement Analysis and Asset Valuation, Investment Management and Corporate Finance and Legal Considerations of the Malaysian Capital Market.

He is currently a Licensed Financial Planner and holds a Capital Markets Services Representative License from the Securities Commission of Malaysia. He is a strong advocate and a practitioner of need based advisory.

He has spoken on numerous platforms, locally and internationally. He has been invited as a guest speaker and trainer even for companies outside the financial services industry. He has been a trainer, consultant and a guest speaker for Maxis, Tenaga Nasional, Sunway University, IBM Malaysia, DiGi, Sony Corporation, Prudential Indonesia, AIA Thailand, THAIFA and etc. He was also the main platform speaker for the NAMLIFA conference in the year 2014.

Thechinamoorthy was a member of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council Editor’s Board who was responsible for the publication of the Financial 1st Magazine.

Thechinamoorthy has qualified for numerous awards with the company and in the financial services business including the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Excellence Award, The Admired Agency Award (AAA), Master Summit Award and the Million Dollar Agency Award.

He is also an Associate Trainer for Centre For Excellence with the Company in developing professionalism, productivity and a high standard of practice management through the Life Planning Advisor Program. Thechinamoorthy is also an Ambassador for the Live Great Program for the company since 2013.

Thechinamoorthy has also written a series of articles on financial planning for magazines and newspapers in Malaysia. His personal philosophy is “Find Your Voice and Help Others Find Theirs”.
