Mr. De Silva is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in insurance, leadership, and education. Currently, he serves as the Recruitment and Development Manager, Life Insurance Advisor, and Agency Manager in Ratnapura. His journey is distinguished by academic excellence and strategic leadership.

Mr. De Silva’s educational journey reflects a commitment to continuous learning. He holds an MBA from the prestigious Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, earned in 2017. In addition, he possesses an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management (2011) and a Diploma in Marketing Management (2010), both from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura. Recently, he obtained the Life Insurance Master Qualification in Insurance Law and Policy Conditions from the Institute of Total Management, Sri Lanka. As the Regional Manager of Softlogic Life in Ratnapura, Mr. De Silva combines strategic leadership with innovative approaches, earning the esteemed Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) winner title in 2021. He also received the LIMRA (Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association-USA) Quality Award in 2011 and 2012. These accolades highlight not only personal achievement but also a dedication to excellence in the insurance industry.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. De Silva is actively involved in community service. He proudly serves as Vice President of the Lions Club-Colombo Ceylon Excellence, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact outside the boardroom. Additionally, he has previously held the position of Past President at Toastmasters International Sabaragamuwa Club, underscoring his dedication to effective communication and leadership development.

In the academic realm, Mr. De Silva contributes his expertise as a Board of Study member at CODL Sabaragamuwa University, bridging the gap between industry practice and academic rigor.

Having participated in four MDRT experience seminars and two Toastmasters International events abroad, Mr. De Silva remains committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and global best practices.
