Viahal Taneja, RFC^®

Vishal Taneja is a Partner at Advisory Money Strategies, a boutique firm specializing in Trust, Estate, and Financial Planning based in Mississauga. With over 20 years of experience in advisory and leadership roles—including more than a decade at Sun Life Financial—Vishal now dedicates his practice to supporting family-owned businesses and professionals. His expertise lies in tax-efficient wealth creation and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies. 

An important aspect of Vishal’s work involves helping clients convert their “Taxes into Charity”, often turning them into what he calls "accidental donors."

He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU^®) and Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy (MFA-P) designations. Vishal is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT^®) – a global association of the world’s leading financial services professionals, the Canadian Association of Life Underwriters (CALU^®), Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), Advocis®, and the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
