Dr. Stephanie Yates earned her B.S. in Marketing, M.B.A. in Accounting and M.A. in International Economics from the University of Cincinnati.  She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She is also an Accredited Financial Counselor^®,  a Certified Financial Planner^®,  and a Registered Financial Consultant^®.

Dr. Yates intends to represent both academia and practitioners on the IARFC US Chapter Board. She hopes to help academicians understand how best to support practitioners through scholarship and to help practitioners formulate research questions that academics might answer in order to enhance their practices. From working and learning from active practitioners she intends, to impress upon them the benefits of IARFC membership.
