International Association of Registered Financial Consultants founded in 1984, is dedicated to educate, support and advance the professionalism of financial advisors who are helping people spend, save, insure, invest and plan for the future. Benefits at a Glance

As a professional credentialing organization, the IARFC takes a somewhat different view than some of the other groups in the financial services field. If a financial advisor has already completed an educational program that included examinations (as most do), we do not require an additional test or exam fee.

We consider Continuing Professional Education to be a critical component enabling the financial advisor to properly serve the client. No matter how diligent a student might have been, that knowledge is soon outdated by legislation, regulation and a fast-paced economy. Thus, we require 40 hours of continuing education yearly.

The IARFC is also much more liberal in what education is allowed. The most important element is the commitment to a process of continuous improvement. For that to be relevant for such a diverse group of consultants and specialties we allow individuals to choose the education that will benefit them most. This may include a wide range of education vehicles as well as subjects.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact the IARFC at 800.532.9060 or e-mail to: info@iarfc.org
